The Isolated Bidirectional EIA-232-C/ TELEX Adapter converts EIA-232-C data signals to telex network compatible signals and vice versa (EIA-232-C superseded old RS-232 standard, and is directly compatible with V.24 standard) .
The RS-232-C and Telex ports are optically isolated from each other. This unit will operate as passive or active device.
In addition, this unit can be set for full- or half-duplex operation .
This unit is powered by internal dual isolated power supply.
Asynchronous data transmission can be achieved at Telex network compatible rates .
This unit can be supplied in metal enclosures, as well rack mounted (standard U3 size) version is available.
